Praying Mantis nest...

While trimming the bushes out front, we found a praying mantis egg nest.  We collected it off our scrap limbs and put it in a bowl and left in on our porch.  The boys watched it everyday to see if anything was happening.  One morning I heard this squeal and we all ran to look at the bowl.  They had hatched!  There were thousands of them!  Since the bowl was outside I just opened the top, put in back in the bushes, and they were able to scatter all over the tree again.  It was pretty cool.  Science really is EVERYWHERE!
