Tonight John got the book out of our printed blog from 2007. It was cute to look over all the pictures and read all the funny stories that we'd forgotten about over the past 4 years. I can't believe how much the kids have grown. (And how many more we have!!!) We are so very blessed. We are thankful each day for the little miracles that God has given us. We are thoroughly enjoying each moment.
Just one of those moments from tonight...
Dylan has two very loose teeth. His top middle teeth are ready to come out any day now. Just last week he had a visit from the tooth fairy for a bottom tooth. I told him that we'd have to tape those top ones in because the tooth fairy needed to get a day job so he could afford all these lost teeth at once. While we were fussing over Dylan's teeth, Gavin disappeared to the other room. Jordan had brought me a paper towel and an apple. The apple was for Dylan to try to loosen it out. The paper towel was for me to try to pull it. So, Gavin comes walking in the room and climbs up on the bed with a BIG smile. He reaches his hand up to my face and in it is a big wad of toilet paper. He proceeds to smile likes he's asking me to pull his teeth out too!!! Such a silly guy. We all got a good laugh about it. Your day will come Gavinator!!! Don't rush it!
