Jordan,
Now's the time. You've been telling us for months all of your lofty goals of what you're going to do when you turn 4.
- You're going to ride your 2 wheeler bike.
- You're going to learn to write your name.
- You're going to "do school" like Dylan.
Well, Buddy, you've been waiting and the time is here. Snuck up on you I guess.
Funny thing is I told you the other day that you have only 2 more sleeps until you turn 4 and you went right out and knocked #1 right off your list on that very day!!! You made up your mind and that was that. All of that stubborness we've been seeing has turned into will and determination! You even went above and beyond and started all on your own!!! Way to go Jordan!!!
You're turning into a little helper around the house too. Before you will do any work though, we must put our hands in and do a big "TEAM KROL"! What a team player you've become by putting the dishes away, running the vacuum (your favorite job), and you can almost do a load of laundry completely on your own. (I think Grandma Devers was a little surprised by this one!!!)
You're a great brother to Gavin, wanting to teach him how to use the big boy potty. Even before Mommy was ready for this one. :o) You just want to share what you know!!! You love to hold your "Baby Braxton" and sing to him when he's upset. You get that little high pitched voice and it just seems to sooth him when you sing "Jesus Loves Me". What a sweetie you are. You and Dylan are still best buds too. Playing trains, riding bikes and scooters, and making up pretend adventures.
Mommy can't believe your day is here! In a little while I'm going to come out to the back yard and wake you up from your first night staying the whole night in the tent with Daddy and your brothers! I'm going to sing you "Happy Birthday" and tell you the story of this one hot night in June many years ago... I better prepare myself for another year will surely fly by!
Today is your day. We plan to take you to go see a movie (Yogi Bear) and out for a special lunch.
I love you my big blonde haired, blue eyed, dimpled, Snuggle Buggle! Please stay sweet forever. Mommy and Daddy are so proud of you and can't wait to see what the "4 year old adventure" looks like! We know you'll do great!
Love,
Mommy (& Daddy)
Pictures to come soon.
