Grandpa Devers bought the boys these great Hallmark books for Christmas. He recorded the story in his voice and they've been listening to them over and over again. Dylan even ran the battery dead in his already!
Here's Dylan working on his writing journal. Mommy helps him with the date for the day off the calendar. He has to finish the sentence on his own and then copy it in his journal. He's doing really well spelling his sight words and sounding out words he doesn't know. He's even hearing the vowels in the middle of most words which is a higher level skill for his age. Even though writing is the subject he likes the least, he's doing well. We're so proud of him.
Someone got a new bike helmet! Actually, all three boys got them for Christmas from Grandpa and Grandma Krol. Gavin just seems to want to wear his the entire time he's outside. This works out great because he's the one that runs faster than his legs will carry him now. We're thankful that he has it on when he crashes out! :o)
