Goodbye and hello...

We decided it was time...to replace the van. It was getting up in miles and we didn't want to have another huge failure occur. After putting $3000 in the transmission last summer we were done sinking money into a ship going down. :o)

So, we searched and search the internet for what might be our best option for the future. With another little Krol on the way we definitely needed some room to grow. We decided that we'd look for a 12 seat passenger van. This would give us enough room to haul our family comfortably and our luggage when we travel without the inconvenience of a top carrier. We are also planning to get some kind of camper down the road a ways. So, we need to be able to have towing capabilities.

After about 3 months of searching everyday and looking at local dealers, we found the one. It was way overpriced so I just let it pass by. Several weeks later I noticed the same ad on craigslist and the price had lowered. We decided to head to Wilmington to look at it. IT WAS THE ONE! So, we bought it and are loving it. The difference in fuel mileage is an adjustment, but this just forces our trips out to be planned and purposeful. Looks like we'll be enjoying many years and many trips in our new 2003 Ford E350.

Dylan was sad to hear that we'd be selling the Windstar. He wanted to keep it. It was cute because this was the only van he ever knew.

Now we travel down the road to hear the kids talking about all the other passenger vans they see on the roads. Dylan has even distinguished the difference between "passenger vans" and "cargo vans". I hear him telling Jordan all about them. It's hillarious!

Here she is! We still haven't picked out a suitable name for her though! Of course, we removed "Morning Glory" from the side and replaced it with our Ohio State magnet for the back door. This is how everyone knows it's the Krol Family.
