Some steps are happening here!!! Gavin is on the move even more. He is trying to walk more and more. I see him walking down the hallway during the day holding on to the walls. He'll go from room to room that way!!! It's hillarious. He is to the point now where he'll walk about 5 steps from John to me. I need to get a video.
It's all fun and games though until...
All this walking and trying got him into a little pickle the other day. Mommy was in the bedroom collecting laundry. I heard Gavin let out a cry so we went running in to the living room. He had been walking along the side of the treadmill and crashed out. He hit right above his left eye on the knob on the side. It was bleeding everywhere. I scooped him up and laid him on the kitchen table to investigate the injury. Sure enough...He had a pretty good gash on the top of his eyelid. OFF TO THE ER WE HEADED... There wasn't much they could do though. Didn't want to poke his eyeball while stitching it closed. Didn't want to glue his eyelid open either. So, they rinsed it with some solution that helped it clot and sent us on our way. He doesn't seem bothered by it at all. It is healing nicely. I still whince when he rubs his eye, but he doesn't. Must not hurt anymore. ;o) He had a little shiner for a day or so, but it's about gone now.
