We took a last minute trip to Ohio to visit family and friends for Memorial Day weekend. John had the brilliant idea to cut through the mountains on our way. Not completely his fault because I was all about a shortened trip, but failed to look at the map to see the route. We'll blame the GPS though! It was a nice and scenic trip nonetheless. Too bad the kids were sleeping most of the time. Even though it took a little longer, I think I've settled on a new place to live. The valleys of the Virginia mountains are BEAUTIFUL. I'd love to move there and become self-sufficient! John says I've fallen off my rocker! Maybe I have!!! :o)
The boys got a little treat before falling asleep for the night. We packed our PB&J with pretzels in our cooler and then went in to Wendy's for some frosties. YUM YUM! I might just trade my obsession with McDonalds SF Vanilla Iced Coffee for some Wendy's Coffee Toffee frosties! They're not too bad for me, right???!!!
